Press Technician

A Press Technician is responsible for set-up, operation, wash-up and routing maintenance of flexographic and digital printing and converting equipment.  He/She manufactures product based on customer specifications while adhering to safety, compliance and quality requirements.

This hands-on position that in addition to meeting production requirements is involved in process development, trouble shooting and implementing corrective action, yield and waste reduction and continual improvement of manufacturing efficiencies.

Qualifications Required

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read and understand work orders and specifications
• Ability to use a calculator and ruler and convert measurements from fractions to decimal equivalents and vice versa quickly and accurately
• Ability to meet production schedule and complete print jobs on time with high quality
